Captain Cat's Ship Biscuits are a delicious way to add a little bit of Pembrokeshire in to your everyday eating!

These little fish shaped crackers are packed with a punchy twist! These biscuits have a tempestuous crunch followed by the sensation of our tangy warm Captain Cat’s Môr Seasoning blend with the added indulgence of baked in cheddar cheese. 

Serve with beetroot hummus dip, pate, as canapés, cheese platters, or with a lovely cold beer.

Ship’s Biscuits are not only made using sea foraged ingredients but the inspiration behind them is steeped in maritime history. Ship’s Biscuits were the name given to the hard tack crackers traditionally made for sailors to take on long voyages before there was any other way to preserve food. Baked hard the crackers would last for months, on board a typical ship each member of the crew might expect a daily ration of one pound of biscuits and one gallon of beer. Most of the great voyages of discovery would have been fuelled by the biscuits. Our recipe is enhanced with real butter and wonderful laverbread and dulse seaweed. Every Ships Biscuit is cut by the hand of a lovely Welsh mermaid.

Returns Policy

When you order from us we want you to be free from worry, so we extend to you our no quibble guarantee:

You have 7 working days after receiving your goods to cancel your order. If you would like to cancel your order you must tell us in writing; you can do this by email within the 7 day cancellation period.

We count notice as being given from the day on which the email is sent.

During this 7 day cancellation period you have a duty to ensure that we receive the goods and that no damage is incurred while they’re sent back to us. All customers have 28 days to return the items to us from the date your order was placed.

Once we receive your items back here at The Golden Sheaf Gallery HQ, we will give you a full refund of the price paid for the products providing they reach us in their original condition. If the products are faulty or damaged we will also refund their original delivery charge, however, you are responsible for the cost of their return.

If fragile products ( I.e. Ceramics or glass) have arrived damaged without hope of repair, please email us or drop us a line. We value the environment too much to ask you to send it back, so if you just send us a photo we will refund you, no problem.

We are unable to offer our returns policy on earrings due to hygiene reasons.

How to return or exchange: There is no need to telephone us when sending a return (Unless damaged or faulty):

Please send an email to customerservice@thegoldensheafgallery.co.uk informing us of your cancellation request. Then pop the items in the post and send them to our return address: The Golden Sheaf Gallery, High Street, Narberth, Pembrokeshire, SA677AR Once we receive your items, we'll refund you in full, and send you a little email to confirm this.

Shipping

UK Delivery - £3.95 First-class delivery - Items are sent using Royal Mail 1st Class post.

Next Day Delivery - £8.95 Next-day delivery - Using Royal Mail Special Delivery service. If ordered before 1p.m. Monday - Thursday your order should arrive before 1p.m. the next day. If ordered before 1p.m. on Friday your order should arrive by 1p.m. on Monday.

Saturday Day Delivery - £11.95 Saturday delivery - You may select this option at anytime during the week before 1p.m. on Friday. If ordered before 1p.m. on Friday your order should arrive by 1p.m. on Saturday. Chalk Paint & Works of Art- £8.95 Due to the weight of chalk paint, delivery is charged at £8.95. However this shipping charge doesn't increase should you buy more than one paint tin, therefore when ordering in multiples we pay the excess postage on the excess items. With artwork we want to ensure that they are in perfect condition when they arrive with you, therefore we do charge extra to ensure that the items are well packages and are signed for on arrival.

NB: All packages over 2kg in weight will be sent Standard Delivery First Class and for these we do reserve the right to alter charges. However, we will confirm charges prior to dispatch should they be different from the above.

We are currently unable to send items overseas.

We aim to dispatch your items within 24 hours of receipt of your order Monday to Friday 9.30a.m. - 5.30p.m (excluding Bank Holidays), stock permitting. Once your order has been dispatched the delivery time and cost will depend on the option you choose.

Standard Delivery is shipped by First Class Royal Mail post and should arrive within 3-5 working days.
