Local ceramicist Graham Lovett has been a long time favourite here at The Gallery, working with natural shapes and practical yet beautiful glazes, we think each of his handmade items is full of character, charm and care. The pieces in this collection are fired in white, made with pounded Cornish stone. The gentle flecks seen in some pieces are caused by iron from its presence in the local, Abereiddy shale.
These jugs are perfect for milk, cream, water and wine- each one sits squatly and securely at the base and narrows to the mouth. Available in 4 sizes, each one is soft to the touch and fully vitrified, although we advise against filling with strongly coloured liquid to avoid permanent staining.
Each piece is entirely unique, so small imperfections are to be expected, if you would like more detailed photographs please contact us.
Small: 9cm x 7cm at base (£14-£16)
Small Medium: 11cm x 8cm at base (£19)
Large Medium: 15cm x 9cm at base (£28)
As each item is handmade, we number each piece. The price refers to the size.
